Dave has taken welding at Potomac
Senior High School for the past two years, under the direction
of Russ Bowling.
He recently competed in the schools
in-house competition and district competition. Dave finished first
in his District, where the competition was vigorous. He will now
go on to the State Competition, which will be held in Hampton,
Va.

Welding Program
Under the direction of
Mr. Russ Bowling
Potomac Senior High School offers
a Welding Program for students consisting of a two-year, two-block
course. Students will learn to use gases and/or welding processes
to braze and solder metal parts according to diagrams, blueprints,
or written specifications. Industry certifications will be available.
