Shenandoah Speedway 7-21-2007

START OF THE RACE

Dave would be driving the blue 52 car this evening.

Do not allow the beauty of Shenandoah to trick you into believing this track is tame. Shenandoah Speedway is nothing like any other track Dave has ever driven. This track is relatively flat compared to Old Dominion Speedway. The flatness of the track makes for a loose car and can be very exciting to watch as a spectator. Shenandoah is a two groove track and you must be on top of the wheel and stay focused at all times!

The mountain air was crisp and the drivers were ready to get it on. Tonight’s Legends field would consist of thirteen cars. Dave would start the race in the twelfth position and would have his work cut out for him. He slowly worked his way through traffic and he and the 41 car would put on a show by driving door handle to door handle for several laps.

Dave would round out the night with an 8th place finish.

A special thanks to Marci Hutson for sharing her great photos!
