A man on a mission is the best way to describe Dave's mood for tonight's race!.
It would prove to be the most gratifying thus far!
Dave's sheer determination to win tonight’s event gave him his third win of the season.

Today’s weather would be hot and humid!

Dave, the current point leader knew that tonight’s race could prove pivotal in the chase for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Mini Modified Series. He was focused and determined to bring home his third win of the season.

Dave would motor his way from the back of the field slowly passing his competitors clean. The first caution flag would wave as Bobby Able took his car on a wild ride on two wheels down the back straight-a-way.

With #59 Keith Riley in the lead and #11 Green in second, the caution flag waved for an on track incident involing both drivers, which also resulted in the #11 car of Green having to come into the pits for a window net malfunction. On the restart Dave would take a commanding lead before the #40 car would bring out the third caution of the evening. The caution tightened the field and now had Green on Dave’s bumper. Green was able to hold his momentum for a while, but both drivers would encounter lapped traffic. Dave’s car was dialed in and after clearing the traffic, he gained a quarter track lead over the field, a lead that was continuing to grow with each lap, and resulted in taking the checkers.

Dave Daniels powered his way to his 3rd win of the season in the 30 lap Mini Modified feature. Daniels, the current point leader in the division, was able to hold off a hard charging Paul Green at the end. Green, who had to make a pit stop under caution for his window net that come down, cut his way through field, but was not able to mount a serious charge at the end. Keith Riley finished 3rd, while Joe Riley and Nick Johnston rounded out the top 5. With just one race remaining for the Mini Modifieds, Daniels takes a slim 10 point advantage over Green into the final event scheduled for September 26th.
