Danco Racing’s 04 car would finish with another top 10!

The car would run in two practice races and Dave's time trials would be 17.8. Dave would qualify 5th and with the field once again inverted, Dave would start on the front outside row.

Dave would race in the top ten the entire evening and ran his fastest times ever, a 17.4
An accident on the track brought the race to red flag conditions. The cars would be held while the track was cleaned up and debris was removed. The race, up until this point had been very competitive with the top 8 cars running close speeds, nose to tail! Once green flag racing resumed, there were 4 laps left before the checked flag would wave. Unfortunately there was some remaining oil on the track and as the cars came out of turn 4, many of them went slip, sliding, away! Dave’s car fishtailed, but he was able to regain control and finished the race in 8th place.

Dave is currently in the 12th position out of 29 cars for the year at Old Dominion Speedway
