Race at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas, VA

What a spectacular evening it would be to race at the
3/8 mile of Old Dominion Speedway. Weather conditions would
be ideal with temps in the 80's. A slight breeze would move
through the grandstands as the green flag
ceremonies commenced.

Tonight’s race would consist of an 18 car field.
The largest field offered throughout the evening.
The Legends division has become so popular,
that there is talk about them running weekly next year.

Dave regained his focus and proved that he
could once again get the job done!

The 04 Danco car, sponsored by Ty, Amsoil and
Daniels Auto Care, would practice twice throughout the day,
and run time trials for race position. We would quality in the
10th position, and round out the night with a 8th place finish,
incident free.

The last two laps of the race would be exciting.
Dave raced competitively with the 87 car throughout the entire race.
Dave would take the 87 car in turn 4,
only to be out motored inches from the checked flag.

This week we will spend time prepping the car to practice at
Shenandoah Speedway on Wednesday. Our next race at
Old Dominion will be June 30th. If you are interested in track
