Much to our surprise, Dave and our team, DANCO Racing would win the Team/Sportsmanship Award.
This photo depicts Dave walking up to receive the award. Voting for this award was done by the promoters and
track officials at each speedway. The Team/Sportsmanship award takes into consideration not only the attitude of the
driver toward his sport but also his attitude toward his fellow competitors, his actions and the overall display of sportsmanship
through the driver's race team.
MARF considers this award to be major, as it has a direct relationship to the image of racing in the public eye.

Dave proudly accepting his MARF jacket.
On September 4, 2010 it was MARF night at Old Dominion Speedway.
Dave would be the feature winner in the Mini Modified Division and elected to receive the prestigious "MARF Jacket"

The famous MARF jacket is one such Club award presented in the past to hundreds
of drivers on MARF NIGHTS, club members and other contributors to Auto Racing.
Each jacket proclaims MARF with an identity that has become a trademark in racing
circles everywhere. The Club jacket has changed over the years and has been presented too
many greats in the racing world. The jacket presented to Joe Weatherly now hangs in the museum
at Darlington, South Carolina. Placed next to it is a plaque, also presented by MARF that explains
its significance. A jacket was presented to Ryan Newman, at the Sprint Cup race at
Dover International Speedway on September 26, 2010.

GAME TIME!
Old Dominion Speedway Champions would square off with
Potomac Speedway Champions in a game called QUARTERS

RULES
The first team to squeeze a quarter between their tush,
run to the cup, drop the quarter in the cup,
drink the beverage and run back to their team mates,
before the other team finishes, WINS!!!

Dave Adams and Ronnie Wolfe explain the rules!
Look at those intense looks on our driver's faces.

Say what? Are you kidding me dude?

Steve Ward and Bryan Fox look perplexed.
Oh boy, racing sounds easier than this!

Steve takes the challenge and is successful on his first attempt.

Dave takes the challenge and is successful in making the drop.

Dave, chugging the beverage as per the rules.

Dave sprinting back to his team members for the next man in line to make the drop.

Bryan Fox cautiously squeezing that quarter for a team win.

Adam Brenner makes the drop in the cup!

This gives a whole new meaning to plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is!

**************************

I am happy to announce that Old Dominion Speedway Championship drivers
would prevail, and be the WINNERS of tonight's squeeze off!
